I normally like Target but today I had a very frustrating experience with customer service. I bought a floor lamp today and went home to put it together. I got most of it together then noticed I was missing some of the screws. I didn't see the size of the screw anywhere or I'd just go to the hardware store, so I figured I'd see if they could provide them for me. I called and the five different ppl I spoke with were pleasant but then Target told me that in order to get the screws I need from them I have to take the lamp apart, get it back in the box, drive all the way back, return this one, get a new one, drive it home and rebuild it with the screws because "it's easier for the store". Seriously? Enough said.
This store is much better than Walmart. Better variations and staff who always help.

I went to target to purchase a new phone. I was returning a phone I purchased 24 hours ago. This experience of purchasing the first phone took well over an hour to do. Once I returned the next day to exchange the phone they told me that I had to wait 48 hours before getting the phone I wanted. I had to wait 2 days with no phone because the target computers could not do my exchange until 24-48 hours later. Very inconvenient.
