My family ordered 2 trays of chicken for a family event held today. Order was too be ready at 1pm; event starts at 2. We arrived at 1pm, it's now 2pm and its still not ready. Family is waiting to eat but no main protein to serve. All I get are apologies. Should have gone to Kentuckly Fried Chicken...
Clean and well stocked. Bakery makes beautiful cakes made to specification and deli department runs smooth even when super busy
Overall a good grocery store. The produce is usually well stocked and fresher than most large chains. The staff has been helpful when I've grabbed someone in an aisle, same with the butcher counter. Unfortunately they don't carry or are always out of some typical meats... Such as flank steak. Just be sure to check expiration dates on dairy and meat... They seem to have difficulty with the stocking method of "first in, first out". The weekly flyer always has some great deals, but they run Friday to Thursday, and they regularly run out of sale items, so avoid the last couple days of the ad cycle (Wed - Thu). For this area, Shaws is the grocery store I choose most often.
Try cashing out at closing with one line open most of the young people could use some people skills.
The girl at the. Akery was incredible.. she went out of her way to call me back to try an accommodate my 1st cake order request.. great customer service...
