Been here a handful of times, once for tires, couple times for an oil change, once for radiator change. The prices are fair, the work is good. The work often takes a bit longer than expected, be prepared to wait a little extra but I've never had and reason to doubt the work they do or the prices they charge. Good work takes time.
Had to get some tires replaced, which was quick work for Sullivan tire.
Otherwise they did a good job with the tires. So beware that unless it's their tire brand in stock or what they push, they will over charge you for new tires. Come in with competitive proof to get the price match guarantee.
I had a slow leak and had it inspected by Sullivan Tire. They found the problem and the "hole" was un-repairable due to it's location on the tire. It took a few hours for them to get to the inspection, but that was all fine, I was a walk-in after all. And they didn't charge me for the inspection.
So I had two issues. First, they quoted me about $30 higher than their competition to replace one tire. I know this because I decided to wait and do some research. Good thing I did too. In the end, Sullivan Tire did match their competition's price, so I got the best price. And I decided to get two tires so I'd have a matched set to properly rotate them in the future. So I asked them to put the two new tires on the front, but when I picked up the car they were on the rear. When I mentioned that they didn't do as I asked, I received a curt response that they always put two new tires on the rear. I reiterated that I want them on the front. And was again told abruptly that they only put new tires on the rear due to noise they generate. NOISE! really??? lame excuse! I felt they just didn't want to move them to the front as I asked. BTW, if putting them on the front was an issue, they should have said so up front when I asked them to put them on the front of my car.
Complete lack of respect for people's time. Had an 11:00 appointment, made it known that I was waiting next door. At 2:00 they hadn't even touched my car yet. Never had an issue with this company until I went to this location.
11/14/16 - Received a call from Chris K. apologizing for my frustrations and explaining why they put the tires on the rear. I applaud Sullivan Tire for taking the time and making the effort to contact me and improve my overall customer experience. I originally gave them 3 stars, but upgraded my review to 4 stars due to the call.
We had an emergency of sorts when the loud clanging started after driving in a torrential downpour, the evening before we were heading home on a four hour ride. Joe and Robin and staff were extremely accommodating and helpful, in taking care of the rusting connection on the heat shield and sending us on our way, in a timely manner.
